Templenoe is a small community well worth a visit, a famous golf course,
fishing and water sports are the highlights of the area.
 | Spillane's Pub is a local watering hole where locals and tourist come. During the summer soup and sandwiches are served in the bar and on the terrace. Live Music on occasions. The Pub was run by Pat's Mother Maura Spillane until Pat took over in the Late 80's. The pub also use to incorporated a small grocery shop which was then closed.   Pat's Trofee Case is prominently displayed in the bar. A "most see" collection ! |
Spillane's Bar is now open under new management.
Local entrepreneur Thomas Noonan has the intention to return the local bar
to it's former glory with expanded services.
The bar was re-opened combined with a birthday party of a local young man.
